Before purchasing the Durango East KOA Kampground, they spent 15 years in the fast-paced restaurant business. "We decided to stay in the hospitality industry, and invest in our future, but we wanted to lose the hustle and bustle of Northern Virginia," says Carol. "Durango is a beautiful place to vacation and live." Since 1992, the Coates have been providing their campers with a very clean, well-maintained park and great service, "We take great pride in our park; we work very hard to keep it this way," says Carol.
